Welcome to the website of the Research Office the School of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering at Iran University of Science and Technology.

The mission of the Research Office in this faculty is to direct and organize one of the most important objectives of academia: research in the field of materials and metallurgy engineering. To achieve this goal, the office pursues the following specific tasks and objectives:

• Establishing and developing effective relationships with scientific, research, and industrial centers both domestically and internationally.
• Strengthening innovative companies and startups, fostering knowledge-based activities, and enhancing entrepreneurship.
• Identifying methods for attracting funding and financial support from various domestic and international organizations.
• Organizing scientific and industrial conferences and lectures.
• Organizing and upgrading research laboratories, research groups, and centers within the faculty.
• Reinforcing and expanding collaboration with other universities and research institutions inside and outside the country.
• Strengthening an educational-research environment conducive to achieving honors, conducting research, publishing articles, and producing inventions by students and faculty members.
